How to Add a QOTD Bot to Discord

Follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Visit the bot website for QOTD. and click on Invite at the top-right corner.

  2. Under ADD TO SERVER, select the server where you want to add the bot and click on Continue.

  3. Now click on Authorise to grant the QOTD bot the required permissions.

How to Set Up a QOTD Bot on Discord

Now that the QOTD bot has been added to your Discord server, it’s time to set it up. Follow the under-mentioned steps.

  1. Open Discord and navigate to the server on which the bot was added.

  2. Click on #general from the left pane.

  3. Type the command /setup on which you want the bot to be added and press Enter. Note: As QOTD is a bot for text channels, it is usually added to the server and can be found in the #general channel.

  4. Now click on Begin Setup and click on Enter Response under What title would you like to use for this channel?

  5. Submit the name and follow the on-screen instructions to choose the Time zone, post frequency, and action mode of the bot.

  6. Now, click on Create Deck to create a new set of question cards, or on Download QOTD Starter Deck.
