Open Instagram and tap on the profile picture at the bottom.

Method 1: Use Airplane Mode
Even though this seems easy. this method might not always be effective, especially for video stories. You can still give it a try. Note: Before moving on to the steps, ensure the device is running an active internet connection.
Open Instagram and wait for a few seconds for all the stories to load.
Now exit the app and remove it from the background apps.
Turn on Airplane mode on your smartphone.
Relaunch Instagram and tap on the story you want to view.
Once done, exit the app again and remove it from the background apps.

- Next, tap on their profile picture to view the story.
- Once done, tap the three vertical dots at the top-right corner.
- Choose Block from the menu on your screen.
Now wait for at least 24 hours or until the story has expired before unblocking the user.
Method 3: Make Secret Instagram
This is a fool-proof method if you do not want to reveal your identity but still watch someone’s story.
