Select Privacy, search, and services from the left panel.

Choose Google as the default search engine.

Type Edge and hit Enter to create a new folder.
Right-click anywhere on the screen and click on New> DWORD (32-bit) Value.
Rename the new folder as HubsSidebarEnabled.
Double-click on the folder and set the value to 0 under Value data, then click OK.
Go to your browser and type edge://policy.
Click on Reload Policies. Under Policy Name, your HubsSidebarEnabled should become visible.

Method 5: Turn Off Display of Search Entries Via Group Policy Editor

Open the start menu.
Search Group policy in the search bar.
Open Edit group policy.

Select Turn off display of recent search entries in the File Explorer search box.
