How to Turn Off Zoom Mode on a Vizio TV

If you have recently noticed your TV screen suddenly displaying zoomed-in pictures on your channels, it may be because of the default screen set to display 1080p HD channels. Before you begin, ensure you have a picture on your TV screen to ensure it works properly.

Now, your Zoom mode will turn off and turn your TV back to its normal mode.

How Many Types of Zoom Settings Are on Vizio HDTV?

Vizio TV has four different screen settings that help you adjust the way your TV displays images on the screen:

Normal: This is the default setting, which ensures pictures are displayed in their original size without any alterations. This means no zooming is active in this setting. Wide: When you set your Vizio TV to a wide setting the images are stretched to take up the whole screen, eliminating any black bars on the left and right sides of the screen. Zoom: This setting enlarges the image. When you use the Zoom setting any black bars will be removed. Sometimes it also cuts off part of the picture from the top and bottom. Panoramic: This setting stretches the left and right sides of the screen while leaving the center part unchanged. When you use the panoramic setting, you will notice some of the pictures are cut out.
